Morpeko, Toxtricity, Jolteon and Flareon Are Coming to Pokémon UNITE!
Pokémon UNITE is about to get a serious injection of new Pokémon, with Morpeko, Toxtricity, Jolteon and Flareon all confirmed to be joining the playable roster over the coming months.
The four new additions were revealed during the 2026 Pokémon World Championships, giving fans their first look at the Pokémon in action and a preview of some of their moves and abilities. The official Pokémon UNITE website has now confirmed the upcoming additions.
Morpeko Is Coming First
The first of the four new Pokémon to arrive will be Morpeko, which is scheduled to join Pokémon UNITE on September 4, 2026.
Morpeko will be a Speedster, making its high-speed playstyle a natural fit for the Pokémon.
One of Morpeko’s most interesting features is its ability to switch between its two forms:
Full Belly Mode
Hangry Mode
The official announcement teases that players will need to make effective use of both forms while taking advantage of Morpeko’s speed to quickly close the distance on opponents.
This could make Morpeko a particularly interesting Pokémon for players who enjoy fast, aggressive gameplay.
Toxtricity Brings Electric and Poison Attacks
Next up is Toxtricity, which will arrive later in September.
Toxtricity will be an Attacker, with the Pokémon specialising in dealing damage from a distance.
The official Pokémon UNITE announcement specifically highlights Toxtricity’s ability to use both Poison- and Electric-type attacks, giving it some interesting options when attacking opponents from afar.
Toxtricity is currently scheduled to arrive on September 24, 2026.
Jolteon Finally Joins Pokémon UNITE
The Eeveelution lineup is also about to become complete.
Jolteon will be joining Pokémon UNITE in October 2026, where it will take on the role of a Speedster.
This is particularly exciting for Eevee fans because Jolteon’s arrival means another of the original Eeveelutions is finally becoming playable.
Jolteon joins the likes of Vaporeon and the other Eeveelutions already available in UNITE.
Flareon Is Coming Too!
And if you’re a fan of the original Eeveelutions, there’s even more good news.
Flareon will also arrive in October 2026, taking on the role of an All-Rounder.
That means the two new Eeveelutions will offer very different playstyles, with Jolteon focusing on speed and Flareon taking on the more versatile All-Rounder role.
While exact release dates for both Jolteon and Flareon have not yet been announced, they are both confirmed for October.
The Eevee Evolution Line Is Almost Complete
Jolteon and Flareon are particularly significant additions because Pokémon UNITE has been steadily adding Eevee’s evolutions to the game.
With these two arriving, the full set of Eeveelutions will finally be represented in Pokémon UNITE.
That gives Eevee fans plenty of options when choosing how they want to play, with the various evolutions filling different roles across the battlefield.
Pokémon UNITE Is Getting Busy!
The four new Pokémon follow a huge run of additions to Pokémon UNITE throughout 2026.
Players have already welcomed Pokémon including Palkia, Yveltal, Reshiram, Solgaleo and Meganium, among others, as the roster continues to expand.
The timing of the announcement was also significant, coming as part of the 2026 Pokémon World Championships in San Francisco.
The 2026 championship was won by ZETA DIVISION from Japan, who defeated Europe’s KOMAÏ in the Grand Final.
Interestingly, this was also the final Pokémon UNITE Championship Series appearance at the main World Championships, with the competitive series being separated from the World Championships from 2027.
Release Schedule
Here’s when you can expect the new Pokémon:
| Pokémon | Role | Release |
|---|---|---|
| Morpeko | Speedster | September 4, 2026 |
| Toxtricity | Attacker | September 24, 2026 |
| Jolteon | Speedster | October 2026 |
| Flareon | All-Rounder | October 2026 |
So there’s plenty coming to Pokémon UNITE over the next couple of months.
Morpeko is up first, Toxtricity follows later in September, and then October will belong to Jolteon and Flareon.
And personally, I’m pretty happy to finally see Jolteon and Flareon joining the game. With the full Eevee evolution lineup finally being completed, Eevee fans are going to have plenty of options to choose from!
