Japanese magazine CoroCoro has confirmed a promo card for the next Pokemon Movie ‘Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution’.
Ancient Mew
The classic Ancient Mew promo card will come with a movie pamphlet that can be purchased in Japan cinemas. It is yet to be announced for the rest of the world, but we usually get the same promos. I still remember getting the original card back in 2000 while seeing, Pokemon: The Movie 2000, about 18 years ago and I still have it in my collection
The only differences between the new and original cards (that I know of) is it has a 2019 copyright date on the bottom to help distinguish it from the original, besides that minor detail they are identical.
Any die hard Pokemon wants this card or should I say needs this card!
Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution will be released in Japan on July the 12th. As per usual with Pokemon movies, it will probably reach Australia around November/December this year.
