New Sinnoh Pokemon and New Lures!

New Pokemon from the Sinnoh region have been released! You may find Pokemon such as Cherubi, Gible, Hippopotas and more in the wild and in Eggs.

A new move, Earth Power, has been added to the game. It is a two-bar Ground-type charged move that deals 100 damage  and in Trainer Battles it may lower the opponent’s Defense. Some new Sinnoh Pokemon are able to learn it and the other Pokemon that can learn the move are: Nidoqueen, Nidoking, Aerodactyl, Camerupt, and Claydol.

New Lure Modules have been added: Glacial, Mossy and Magnetic. Once deployed on a PokeStop, they will attract local Pokemon plus other Pokemon of the respective Lure type. They will also allow certain Pokemon to evolve. The new Lure Modules can be purchased from the in-game shop for 200 coins each. They will also be available as rewards for Special Research in the near future.

Glacial Lure Module
  • The Glacial Lure Module can attract Water and Ice type Pokemon. It can make Eevee evolve into Glaceon.
Mossy Lure Module
  • The Mossy Lure Module can attract Bug, Grass and Poison type Pokemon. It can make Eevee evolve into Leafeon.
Magnetic Lure Module
  • The Magnetic Lure Module can attract Electric, Steel and Rock type Pokemon. It can make Nosepass evolve into Probopass and Magneton evolve into Magnezone.

To evolve a Pokemon, you must be in range of the PokeStop with Lure Module deployed, spin its PhotoDisc and the evolution will be enabled.
