Pokémon Pokopia “Fetching Scales for Feebas” Event Now Live
A new limited-time event has arrived in Pokémon Pokopia, giving players the chance to help one of Hoenn’s most unusual Pokémon—and eventually welcome both Feebas and Milotic into their town.
The event, titled “Fetching Scales for Feebas,” runs from August 13, 2026, at 5:00 a.m. until August 28, 2026, at 4:59 a.m. local time.
Feebas Has Come to Town
During the event, Feebas will appear in front of any rebuilt Pokémon Center in the main game.
Talk to Feebas and you’ll be asked to help collect special Prism Scales.
These scales can be gathered by visiting Dream Islands and using Drifloon’s special ability, giving players another reason to head out and explore the islands during the event.
The Prism Scales can then be exchanged for a variety of swimming-themed furniture and other items.
Build a Home for Feebas and Milotic
The real reward for completing the event is being able to create habitats using the special furniture.
Once the appropriate habitat has been created, players can have Feebas and its beautiful evolution, Milotic, move into their town permanently.
That means you don’t have to worry about the Pokémon disappearing when the limited-time event ends—the habitat allows them to remain part of your Pokémon community.
Milotic is the evolution of Feebas and is officially classified as the Tender Pokémon, a Water-type Pokémon standing at 6.2 metres tall.
No Paid DLC Required
One of the best parts of this event is that you don’t need to own the Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass to participate.
The event is available as part of the main game, meaning players can collect the Prism Scales and work towards adding Feebas and Milotic to their towns without purchasing the paid DLC.
The event is also separate from Bubbly Basin, which launched as the first part of the Expansion Pass. The Feebas event takes place in the main game’s towns rather than the Bubbly Basin or Cloud Islands areas.

“Fetching Scales for Feebas” continues Pokémon Pokopia’s growing lineup of limited-time events.
Previous events have brought Pokémon such as Jirachi and Sableye into the game, while the new Feebas event gives players another pair of Pokémon to permanently add to their towns.
And with the event running for only a little over two weeks, you’ll want to make sure you have enough time to gather those Prism Scales and build the required habitat.
Feebas might not be the most impressive-looking Pokémon at first glance, but give it the right home and you’ll eventually have Milotic swimming around your Pokémon town.
