Pokémon TCG Pocket Reveals New “Paradox Drive” Expansion Launching May 27
The Pokémon Company has officially announced the next major expansion for Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket, with Paradox Drive set to launch on May 27th, 2026.
The new expansion will shine a spotlight on the legendary Pokémon Koraidon and Miraidon, while also introducing the mysterious Paradox Pokémon that first appeared in the Paldea region.
Ancient and Future Cards Arrive
One of the biggest additions in Paradox Drive is the introduction of two brand-new card categories:
- Ancient Pokémon
- Future Pokémon
These card types are inspired by the Paradox Pokémon from Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, bringing a fresh mechanic and deck-building possibilities to Pokémon TCG Pocket.
While The Pokémon Company has not yet revealed the complete card list, the trailer showcases several familiar Paradox Pokémon making their debut in the mobile card game.
Koraidon and Miraidon Take Centre Stage
The expansion’s key artwork and promotional material heavily feature Koraidon and Miraidon, the legendary mascots of the Paldea region.
Both Pokémon have become fan favourites since their debut and are expected to play a major role in the expansion’s featured cards and strategies.
