Suntory x Pokémon 30th Anniversary Campaign Announced in Japan

Suntory has announced a new collaboration campaign with The Pokémon Company to celebrate Pokémon’s 30th anniversary.

The campaign will begin on April 27th, 2026 in Japan, giving fans the chance to win exclusive Pokémon-themed merchandise by purchasing eligible Suntory products.

Campaign Prizes

Customers who purchase qualifying products and enter the promotion can win one of two prizes:

Prize A

An original Pokémon 30th Anniversary multi-functional backpack.

Prize B

One of four different “Partner Towel” designs inspired by Pokémon.

The towels appear to feature different Pokémon partners, though the exact designs have not yet been fully revealed.

Special Pokémon Party Pack Also Releasing

Alongside the campaign, Suntory will also release a special Pokémon-themed version of its Home Drink Bar product line.

The new item, titled the “Home Drink Bar Pokémon Party Pack”, will launch in Japan on April 28th, 2026.

While full details have not yet been shared, the product appears to feature Pokémon-themed packaging designed to tie into the 30th anniversary celebration.

Another Part of Pokémon’s 30th Anniversary Celebrations

The Suntory collaboration is the latest in a growing number of campaigns taking place throughout 2026 as Pokémon celebrates 30 years since the release of the original games.

Recent anniversary tie-ins have included food, merchandise, clothing, and retailer promotions, with Suntory now bringing Pokémon to supermarket shelves and drink aisles across Japan.
