A new feature will be introduced during Swinub’s Community Day: on Trainer Battles, certain Charged Attacks will have a chance to trigger stat boosts! The stat boosts will keep affecting the Pokémon until it faints or is switched out of battle. The first moves that will have Stat Boosts are the following:
- Ancient Power: Chance to raise the user’s Attack and Defense
- Ominous Wind: Chance to raise the user’s Attack and Defense
- Silver Wind: Chance to raise the user’s Attack and Defense
These are the first moves to be upgraded, but they will be more in the future. Remember that during this Community Day, Mamoswine will learn Ancient Power.
My thoughts
We will have to see how these Stat Boost benefit Pokemon during Trainer Battles. Maybe Ancient Power Mamoswine will be more than a collector’s item!
