Pokémon Japan has launched an official webpage for their newly announced title: Pokémon Champions Official Site, giving fans a first look at the upcoming cross-platform battle-focused game.
Game Overview
Pokémon Champions is a brand-new title currently in development for Nintendo Switch and smartphones (iOS/Android). The game aims to deliver an immersive, battle-focused Pokémon experience accessible to a wide range of players. It stays true to the classic strategy elements of the series, including move selection, type matchups, and abilities, while introducing cross-platform play so trainers on different devices can battle each other.
Battle Modes
Players can choose from multiple battle formats to suit their style:
- Ranked Battles – Climb the competitive ladder and prove your skill.
- Casual Battles – No pressure, just fun.
- Private Battles – Invite friends or spar with rivals in custom matches.

Trainer Customization
Players will take on the role of a trainer aiming to rise through the competitive ranks. While specifics haven’t been revealed yet, the game promises trainer customization options to personalize your in-game appearance and presence.

Pokémon HOME Integration
Pokémon Champions will support integration with Pokémon HOME, allowing players to bring in select Pokémon from past titles and Pokémon GO. However, Pokémon caught within Pokémon Champions will not be transferable back to HOME.
