Humorous new line launches October 4th
The Pokémon Company has revealed a brand-new merchandise line for Pokémon Center Japan, this time themed around the iconic “Run” battle option. The collection humorously spotlights Pokémon either attempting to flee, failing to escape, or blocking the way of others.
The line will launch in-store across Japan on October 4th, 2025, with Pokémon Center Online sales beginning October 2nd at 10:00 AM JST (October 2nd at 10:30 AM ACST).
A Line Full of Escapes… and Failures
The “Run” collection features a wide variety of items showcasing playful escape scenes:
- Plush key cases inspired by Snorlax’s Street Barrier and Wobbuffet’s Shadow Stomp.
- A pull-back Eevee plush using its Run Away ability.
- A multi-stand depicting Suicune unable to escape from Gengar.
- Gengar’s “Black Gaze” reel cleaner, designed for smartphones or glasses.
- A bold backpack featuring Bewear trapping Ditto mid-escape.
- All-over print T-shirts and reversible blousons featuring comical illustrations of fleeing Pokémon.

The designs were created by illustrator Usagi Men (USGMEN), known for his cute, lighthearted art style and contributions to Pokémon TCG and merchandise.
The “Run” collection blends classic Pokémon battle nostalgia with playful new designs, making it one of the more unique merch lines revealed this year. With Gengar, Snorlax, Eevee, and more stealing the spotlight, this drop is bound to appeal to collectors and fans who love a comedic twist on their favorite Pokémon.
