Pokémon Local Acts Favourite Pokémon Plush Toys – Series 3 Announced
A new wave of region-themed plush merchandise is on the way! San-Ei Trading Co., Ltd. has officially revealed the third series of their Pokémon Local Acts Favourite Pokémon Plush Toys, featuring three Pokémon chosen to represent Japanese prefectures through the Pokémon Local Acts initiative.
The new lineup includes:
- Ampharos – Nagasaki Future Support Pokémon
- Exeggutor – Miyazaki’s Favourite Pokémon
- Growlith – Okinawa Support Pokémon
These plushies celebrate each prefecture’s unique identity while continuing Pokémon’s mission of regional revitalization across Japan.
What Is Pokémon Local Acts?
Pokémon Local Acts is an ongoing promotional and tourism initiative where certain Pokémon are selected as “support” or “favorite” Pokémon for different regions of Japan. These Pokémon appear in local events, products, tourism campaigns, and collaborative projects designed to shine a spotlight on each prefecture.
Series 3 continues this partnership by transforming these regional mascots into high-quality collectible plushies.

Pokémon Local Acts Favourite Pokémon Plush – Ampharos (Nagasaki)

- Notes: Ampharos was chosen due to its lighthouse-themed tail and connection to Nagasaki’s maritime history.
Pokémon Local Acts Favourite Pokémon Plush – Exeggutor (Miyazaki)
- Size: W13 × D14 × H25.5 cm
- Notes: Exeggutor represents Miyazaki for its tropical aesthetic, tying into the prefecture’s warm climate and coastal scenery.
Pokémon Local Acts Favourite Pokémon Plush – Growlith (Okinawa)
- Size: W12.5 × D17 × H22 cm
- Notes: Growlith symbolizes Okinawa because of its association with protection and support — themes that align with Okinawa’s culture of hospitality and care.
