Pokémon Pokopia Version 1.0.3 Update Now Live, Fixes More Bugs and Habitat Issues

The Pokémon Company has released Version 1.0.3 for Pokémon Pokopia, bringing another round of fixes for players.

This latest update focuses on solving several progression bugs and improving the game’s habitat system, particularly for Pokémon that lose their homes after habitat changes.

Improved Search for Homeless Pokémon

One of the biggest fixes in Version 1.0.3 addresses an issue where Pokémon whose habitats had disappeared could no longer be found using the Pokédex search function.

After installing the update, affected Pokémon should now appear properly when players use the Search option, making it easier to relocate and rebuild habitats for them.

Major Bugs Fixed

The update also resolves a number of issues that could prevent players from progressing through the game:

  • Under certain conditions, travelling to a Dream Island could send players to Palette Town instead, leaving them unable to return
  • When moving between towns or after the in-game date changed, the screen could remain dark and difficult to navigate
  • Certain actions could make it impossible to relocate Pokémon habitats
  • Some construction projects would fail to finish until the in-game date changed
  • In Bleak Beach, players could become stuck during the request “Power up the charging station!”
  • In Sparkling Skylands, construction helper Pokémon could disappear during the quest to rebuild the huge building
  • On Cloud Islands, seasonal Pokémon could vanish from both the town and island areas
  • Creating a new Cloud Island could sometimes trigger an error and fail completely

If any of these issues had already occurred in your save file, installing the update should now fix them.

Controller Vibration Bug Reduced

Version 1.0.3 also partially addresses an issue where performing certain actions could cause the controller to vibrate continuously.

The Pokémon Company notes that this issue has not been completely eliminated, but it should now occur far less often.

With Pokémon Pokopia continuing to receive regular updates, it appears The Pokémon Company is working quickly to address bugs and improve the overall experience following the game’s launch.
