Free Pokémon Acrylic Multi-Stand

Free Pokémon Acrylic Multi-Stand Available With Nintendo Switch 2 Purchases in Japan

The Pokémon Company has announced a new retail promotion in Japan for fans picking up a Nintendo Switch 2 and one of the latest Pokémon games.

Beginning April 24th, customers who purchase a Nintendo Switch 2 console together with a qualifying Pokémon title at participating retailers will receive a free acrylic multi-stand featuring starter Pokémon from throughout the history of the series.

The stand is designed to hold smartphones and other small items, and features artwork of various starter Pokémon from across multiple generations.

Which Games Qualify?

To receive the free acrylic multi-stand, customers must purchase a Nintendo Switch 2 console together with one of the following games:

  • Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition physical version
  • Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition download card
  • Pokémon Pokopia physical key card version
  • Pokémon Pokopia download card

Bundles that already include a Nintendo Switch 2 console and software also qualify for the promotion.

Participating Stores

The promotion will be available at selected stores in Japan, including:

  • Aeon / Aeon Style game departments
  • Edion game retailers
  • Geo game retailers
  • Joshin game retailers
  • Yamada Denki game departments

Online stores are not included in the promotion, meaning customers will need to visit a participating physical retailer to receive the acrylic stand.

Limited Quantities Available

The acrylic multi-stand promotion begins on April 24th and will continue while supplies last. The Pokémon Company notes that quantities are limited, so fans interested in picking one up may want to act quickly.

Another Bonus for New Switch 2 Pokémon Games

With both Pokémon Legends: Z-A and Pokémon Pokopia helping lead Pokémon’s transition onto Nintendo Switch 2, this new campaign is another way Pokémon is celebrating the launch of its latest titles.

The acrylic stand looks to be one of the first major Pokémon retail bonuses for Nintendo Switch 2 in Japan, and may become a sought-after collectible for fans of the franchise’s starter Pokémon.
