Tyrunt and Tyrantrum Coming Soon to Pokémon Sleep
The Pokémon Company has announced that two fossil Pokémon from the Kalos region will soon be arriving in Pokémon Sleep.
Following continued sleep research, players will soon be able to encounter:
- Tyrunt
- Tyrantrum
The announcement confirms that both Pokémon will begin appearing in-game from May 11th, 2026 at 15:00.
Where Tyrunt and Tyrantrum Will Appear
Players will be able to encounter the two Rock-type Pokémon in the following areas:
- Wakakusa Island
- Taupe Cave
- Amber Valley
- Wakakusa Island EX
Their related incense items will also become usable from the same release date and time.
Sleep Types Confirmed
Both Tyrunt and Tyrantrum will appear under the “Sleeping Soundly” sleep type category.
That means players who consistently record deeper, restful sleep sessions will have a higher chance of discovering them during research.
Fossil Pokémon Continue Joining Pokémon Sleep
The addition of Tyrunt and Tyrantrum continues Pokémon Sleep’s steady expansion of its Pokémon roster, especially with more prehistoric and fossil-inspired Pokémon now appearing in the game.
Tyrunt’s adorable design and Tyrantrum’s massive dinosaur-like appearance should make them popular additions for collectors and long-time Kalos fans alike.
As always, players wanting the best chance to encounter them should make sure they’re tracking their sleep consistently once the update goes live on May 11th.
