Suntory BOSS x Pokémon Campaign Returns for 2026 With Exclusive Jackets, Shirts and Collectibles

Suntory has announced another major Pokémon collaboration for its BOSS coffee brand as part of Pokémon’s ongoing 30th anniversary celebrations in Japan.

The campaign launches across Japan from June 2026 and includes limited-edition Pokémon coffee cans, collectible charms, exclusive t-shirts, and even Pokémon-inspired BOSS jackets.

Exclusive Pokémon BOSS Jackets Up for Grabs

The headline prizes for the campaign are the new “Shin Hakken! Boss Jan” jackets inspired by the Pokédex.

Three different designs are available:

  • Bulbasaur design – includes a flower-carrying themed feature
  • Charmander design – includes bright lighting for dark areas
  • Squirtle design – includes a water gun feature

Only five winners will receive each jacket design, making them extremely limited collectibles.

There is also a secondary prize of original BOSS QUO cards for thousands of winners.

QR Code Campaign Includes Pokémon Region T-Shirts

Another part of the campaign involves scanning QR codes found on participating coffee cans.

Fans who enter can instantly win one of five special Pokémon footprint-themed t-shirts based on different Pokémon regions:

  • Kanto
  • Johto
  • Hoenn
  • Sinnoh
  • Unova

A total of 1,500 shirts will be available through the campaign.

The QR code event runs from June 1st until August 31st, 2026.

Pokémon Charm Packs Also Coming

Suntory is also releasing special “Craft Boss Café” two-pack coffee sets featuring Pokémon charms.

The packs include:

  • Original Pokémon-themed packaging
  • Collectible charms
  • Four total design variations

These begin releasing from May 19th, 2026 while supplies last.

Japan Exclusive… But Australian Fans Still Have Options

Unfortunately, like many Japanese Pokémon promotions, international fans will not be able to directly enter the giveaways for the jackets or shirts.

Still, Australian collectors will probably be able to track down the collaboration cans and charm packs through local Japanese grocery stores and import retailers — similar to last year’s Pokémon BOSS coffee releases.

Honestly, even if we can’t win the insane Bulbasaur or Squirtle jackets, the cans themselves are still really cool additions for Pokémon collectors.
