Pokémon Center Singapore Reopening July 1st With Solgaleo Mascot and Exclusive New Merchandise
Pokémon fans visiting Singapore will soon have a refreshed destination to explore, as The Pokémon Company has officially announced that Pokémon Center Singapore will reopen on July 1st, 2026 following the completion of extensive renewal works.

Located inside the iconic Jewel Changi Airport, Pokémon Center Singapore has been closed while renovations were carried out to update and refresh the store experience. The reopening will introduce a brand-new mascot Pokémon, updated displays, and exclusive merchandise that will only be available at the location.
Solgaleo Becomes the New Face of Pokémon Center Singapore
One of the biggest changes coming with the reopening is the introduction of Solgaleo as the store’s new mascot Pokémon.

Nicknamed the “Sunne Pokémon“, Solgaleo will take centre stage throughout the renovated store, replacing many of the previous displays that fans have become familiar with over the years.
Preview images released by The Pokémon Company show a stunning new Solgaleo display that will greet visitors when they enter the store, giving Pokémon Center Singapore a fresh new identity.
The choice of Solgaleo is particularly fitting given Singapore’s warm climate and Jewel Changi Airport’s bright, nature-inspired design.
Exclusive Reopening Merchandise
To celebrate the reopening, Pokémon Center Singapore will also release a new range of exclusive merchandise.
While the full product lineup has not yet been revealed, preview images show a variety of Solgaleo-themed goods and Singapore-exclusive collectibles that fans will only be able to purchase at the store.
Historically, Pokémon Center Singapore has offered exclusive merchandise featuring Pokémon such as Pikachu dressed in local-themed outfits, making these products highly sought after by collectors around the world.

More details on the exclusive reopening merchandise are expected to be announced closer to launch.
A Unique Pokémon Center Outside Japan
Pokémon Center Singapore holds a special place in Pokémon history as the first permanent Pokémon Center location to open outside Japan.
The store originally opened in April 2019 and quickly became one of Singapore’s most popular tourist attractions for Pokémon fans.
Located inside Jewel Changi Airport, visitors can easily combine a trip to the Pokémon Center with other attractions including:
- The HSBC Rain Vortex
- Shiseido Forest Valley
- Canopy Park
- Numerous shopping and dining experiences
For many international travellers, Pokémon Center Singapore serves as the easiest Pokémon Center location to visit outside Japan.
More Pokémon Centers Expanding Across Asia
The reopening comes during a period of continued international expansion for Pokémon retail stores.
Earlier this year, The Pokémon Company announced plans for a new Pokémon Center in Bangkok, Thailand, which will become only the third permanent Pokémon Center outside Japan after Singapore and Taipei.
This demonstrates The Pokémon Company’s continued commitment to bringing official Pokémon shopping experiences to fans across Asia.
