Pokémon Pokopia Announces Free Dive Update and Multi-Part Expansion Pass
Nintendo has officially unveiled exciting post-launch content plans for Pokémon Pokopia, with both a free update and a brand-new paid Expansion Pass set to keep players exploring well beyond the game’s launch.
The first wave of content arrives in August 2026, introducing a fan-favourite feature that opens up an entirely new way to adventure.
Dive Into a Whole New World
The free August update will add the classic Pokémon move Dive to Pokémon Pokopia.
Once unlocked, players will be able to venture beneath the surface and explore underwater environments for the first time. While Nintendo hasn’t revealed everything waiting below the waves, the addition of Dive suggests new areas, hidden treasures, and perhaps even Pokémon that can only be found beneath the ocean.
