Pokémon Center Japan’s “Soaring Dreams” Collection Takes Flight This July
If you’ve ever dreamed of soaring through the skies alongside your favourite Pokémon, Pokémon Center Japan’s newest merchandise collection is sure to capture your heart.
Launching on Saturday, July 4, 2026, the brand-new Soaring Dreams collection celebrates Bagon and its lifelong dream of flying, alongside a cast of beloved Flying- and Dragon-type Pokémon including Salamence, Flygon, Dragonite, Altaria, Dodrio, and even the Legendary Ho-Oh.
With plush toys, home décor, travel accessories, stationery, and more, this beautiful collection is one of Pokémon Center’s most heartwarming releases of the year.
Inspired by Bagon’s Dream
The artwork for the collection tells a touching story inspired by Bagon’s Pokédex lore.

Fans will remember that Bagon has always dreamed of flying through the sky, eventually evolving into the mighty Salamence and making that dream come true.
The collection’s artwork perfectly captures this journey, featuring:
- Bagon happily riding on Salamence’s back.
- Trapinch being carried through the sky by Flygon.
- Dragonite soaring happily through the clouds.
- Altaria gliding gracefully overhead.
- Other Flying-type Pokémon enjoying the open skies together.
It’s a charming reminder that every great journey starts with a dream.
Plush Toys Full of Heart
The highlight of the collection is undoubtedly the adorable plush duo sets.
Salamence & Bagon Plush

The layered design creates impressive depth, making Pokémon appear as though they’re floating through the clouds.

Ho-Oh Inspired Suncatcher

One of Pokémon Center’s Most Beautiful Collections Yet
While Pokémon Center releases new merchandise almost every week, Soaring Dreams feels especially meaningful thanks to its storytelling.
Rather than focusing on a single popular Pokémon, the collection celebrates hope, friendship, and achieving your dreams through Bagon’s journey to becoming Salamence.
The soft artwork, flying Pokémon, and sky-inspired home décor create a peaceful atmosphere that’s quite different from many previous Pokémon Center collections.
