New LEGO Pokémon Sets Revealed Including Rayquaza, Munchlax and a Giant Poké Ball Display
LEGO and The Pokémon Company continue to expand their highly anticipated collaboration, with several brand-new Pokémon sets officially surfacing ahead of their release.
Among the latest additions are stunning display models featuring Rayquaza, Munchlax, and an enormous Poké Ball Iconic Trainer Moments set that recreates iconic scenes from the original Pokémon games. The new collection is aimed primarily at older builders and collectors, following the success of LEGO’s first wave of Pokémon display sets.
Rayquaza Soars Into LEGO
One of the standout additions is the LEGO Rayquaza display model.
Inspired by the Legendary Pokémon’s appearance in Pokémon Emerald, the set features Rayquaza coiled dramatically above a rocky mountaintop. The build contains approximately 1,083 pieces, making it one of the larger Pokémon display models released so far.
Even more exciting for longtime fans, the set includes Zinnia, marking the first-ever Pokémon Trainer minifigure in the LEGO Pokémon line. Zinnia first appeared in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, making this a major milestone for the collaboration.
Munchlax Joins the Collection
Another fan-favourite Pokémon joining the lineup is Munchlax.
The adorable Normal-type Pokémon receives its own highly detailed display model consisting of around 757 pieces. Designed as a collectible display rather than a playset, the build captures Munchlax’s cheerful personality and is expected to appeal to both LEGO builders and Pokémon collectors alike.
Giant Poké Ball Display Set
Perhaps the biggest surprise is the premium Pokémon Iconic Trainer Moments Poké Ball set.
Containing approximately 2,339 pieces, the massive Poké Ball opens to reveal two memorable scenes inspired by the original Pokémon games.
Inside, builders will find:
- Professor Oak presenting the three original partner Pokémon.
- Red battling a Trainer’s Eevee using Pikachu.
The set also includes official LEGO Pikachu and Eevee minifigures, making it one of the most unique Pokémon LEGO releases to date.
Designed for Adult Collectors
Unlike the recently announced Smart Play Pokémon sets aimed at younger builders, these new releases focus on detailed display models for older fans.
