Solgaleo Roars Into Pokémon UNITE!
Pokémon UNITE is welcoming another Legendary Pokémon to the battlefield, with Solgaleo officially joining the game from August 21, 2026!
The Legendary Pokémon from the Alola region is now ready to leap into battle, giving Trainers another powerful option to add to their UNITE roster.
Unlock Solgaleo Through a Special Event
Players can earn Solgaleo’s UNITE License by taking part in a special in-game event and completing the designated missions.
The event runs from:
August 21, 2026, at 4:00 PM until September 16, 2026, at 8:59 AM
Complete the required missions during the event period to unlock Solgaleo’s UNITE License and add the Legendary Pokémon to your collection.
Another Legendary Joins the Battle
Solgaleo is one of the franchise’s most recognisable Legendary Pokémon, originally introduced in Pokémon Sun and Moon. Known as the Sunne Pokémon, Solgaleo is the mascot Legendary of Pokémon Sun and has become a fan favourite thanks to its striking lion-like design.
Its arrival continues a big period for Pokémon UNITE, with more Legendary and powerful Pokémon joining the game’s ever-growing roster.
And if you’ve been keeping up with the recent Pokémon UNITE news, Reshiram also joined the game earlier this month, meaning Trainers now have even more Legendary Pokémon to battle with.
With Solgaleo’s arrival, there is plenty of reason for Pokémon UNITE players to jump back into the arena.
How to Get Solgaleo
To unlock Solgaleo, simply log in during the event period and complete the designated missions.
