Murkrow Makes Memories in New Pokémon POKÉTOON Short
Pokémon has released another adorable — and surprisingly mysterious, POKÉTOON short on YouTube, this time putting Murkrow at the centre of the story.
The latest episode, “Murkrow and the Nighttime Adventure,” follows a young boy named Hiro as he tries to piece together his memories after returning home with no recollection of what happened to him.
The new short was released on August 20, 2026, and is available to watch now on the official Pokémon YouTube channel.

Hiro Returns Home With No Memories
The story begins with Hiro returning home after losing his memory.
When he enters his bedroom, he finds a Murkrow waiting for him.
But this isn’t just any Murkrow.
The Pokémon is wearing a familiar-looking pendant, which immediately raises questions for Hiro.
As the night continues, small pieces of his memories begin to return, and Hiro sets off on an adventure to find the mysterious Murkrow and hopefully uncover the truth.
Cyndaquil and Aipom Join The Adventure
Hiro isn’t completely alone on his journey.
He receives help from Cyndaquil and Aipom, who join him as he searches for Murkrow and tries to recover the memories he has lost.
The story looks set to be another one of those smaller Pokémon adventures that focuses less on battles and more on the relationship between people and Pokémon.
And with a mysterious pendant, lost memories and a Pokémon that seems to know more than Hiro does, there’s plenty for viewers to discover along the way.
