
PokéPark Kanto Opening February 5, 2026 at Yomiuriland
The Pokémon Company has confirmed that PokéPark Kanto, its first-ever permanent outdoor Pokémon attraction, will officially open on February 5, 2026, located within Yomiuriland in Tokyo’s Tama Hills.
What to Expect: Two Themed Areas
PokéPark Kanto spans approximately 2.6 hectares and is divided into two major zones:
- Pokémon Forest: A 500-meter trail through natural terrain—hills, grass, tunnels—where guests can “observe” 600+ Pokémon.
- Sedge Town (Kayatsuri Town): A town-themed area with a Pokémon Center, a Trainer’s Market, and attractions including a gym and themed rides.


Featured Attractions & Shows
Several attractions, shows, and character interactions have been announced:
- Pika Pika Paradise: A ride powered by over 30 Electric-type Pokémon.
- Vee Vee Voyage: A carousel featuring Eevee and its evolutions.
- Live shows and parades including:
- Pika Pika Sparks! — A stage show with Pikachu, performers, music, and light effects.
- Pika Vee Bubble Parade — Parade of Pokémon like Pikachu and Eevee through Sedge Town.
- Pokémon Playhouse — Daily Pokémon appearances, including Clefairy, Vulpix, Psyduck, Growlithe, Slowpoke, Gengar, Lapras, and Dragonite.
- Pika Vee Playroom — Photo-friendly meet-and-greet with Pikachu and Eevee in special outfits, with free photo souvenirs in custom mounts.
Tickets & Pricing
- Lottery Ticket Sales: Opens November 21, 2025 (18:00 JST) and runs until December 8, 2025, for visits between February 5 and March 31.
- Ticket Types:
- Trainer’s Pass: Entry to both Pokémon Forest and Sedge Town — ¥7,900 (adult, 13+)
- Ace Trainer’s Pass: Unlimited Forest access + one ride on each Sedge Town attraction — ¥14,000 (adult)
- Accessibility Note: Guests under age five or those unable to climb approximately 110 steps will be restricted from forest entry; a Town Pass (Sedge Town only) is planned for Summer 2026.
